A considered approach

Good fitting brings the whole kitchen together.

The kitchen you’ve chosen deserves care in the fitting. Straight cabinet runs, doors that sit neatly together and well-finished edges all contribute to how the room looks and works. Professional fitting adapts the plan to the realities of your home, including uneven walls, floor levels and existing services.

01

Cabinets positioned for a kitchen that works

Accurate positioning, levelling and secure fixing give the kitchen its foundation. Checking the cabinet run against the room and supplier’s plan helps drawers open freely, doors clear neighbouring units and appliances fit the spaces intended for them.

02

Care in the details you see every day

Door and drawer alignment, end panels, fillers, handles and plinths give a fitted kitchen its finished appearance. Discuss these details with the fitter so the visible edges and transitions are considered alongside the main units, rather than left until the end.

03

Bring units, worktops and appliances together

A useful kitchen needs more than cabinets in place. Worktop heights, sink and hob positions, appliance clearances and manufacturer instructions all influence the installation. Share the product details early so the fitting and any relevant specialist work can be coordinated.

Worth agreeing early

A prepared room. A smoother installation.

Discuss removal of the old kitchen, waste disposal and any wall or floor preparation before fitting begins. Your quotation should identify the cabinet and finishing work, worktop requirements and any separately arranged connections. A clear sequence helps bring deliveries, room readiness and the right trades together.

before you begin.

Enquiry availability
Can a separately purchased kitchen be installed?

Yes, a kitchen you’ve purchased separately can be assessed for independent fitting. Send the supplier’s plan, unit list and product specifications so compatibility, completeness and any manufacturer-specific requirements can be checked before a quote is agreed.

How long will kitchen fitting take?

The number of units, room readiness, worktop requirements, missing parts and coordination with other trades all affect timing. Ask for a proposed sequence and timeframe after the scope has been assessed; dates are confirmed individually.

Are plumbing and electrical connections included?

Connections are priced and arranged according to the individual project, rather than assumed to be part of cabinet fitting. Agree who arranges plumbing, electrical or gas work and whether it appears in the quotation. Work requiring specialist qualifications must be carried out by appropriately qualified professionals.

What happens if parts are missing?

Check the delivery against the supplier’s list before fitting starts where possible. Agree how replacement parts, return visits and any associated costs will be handled before installation.

What happens after I request a quotation?

Enquiries are not open yet. Once collection begins, the intended quotation process is: Wivna Ltd reviews your enquiry and may introduce you to an independent fitter. The fitter discusses your plan, checks what further measurements or a visit may be needed and provides an individual quotation. You agree the work and dates directly with that professional.
